Activities
BASIC: Meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays each month @ 7:00 pm for Bible Study, Games, and Treats!!!!! (During the school year.) Other activities include: Bowling, Lock-ins, Paintball, Laser Tag, & Skiing.
           
Service Projects: Kossuth Care Team Souper Bowl Sunday Huskamp Haven Omaha Urban Plunge 30 Hour Famine
Recharge: Fall and Spring Retreat Ministry weekend filled with games, music, skits, free time, chapel fun, and a few surprises at Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp for Middle School & High School.
Mission Trips
2011 YouthWorks Sr. High Mission Trip in Thunder Bay, ON This summer July 23-31, 2011 we’re heading to Canada to do mission service with local
Monday through Thursday we’ll do service work from 9-3 each day, have Bible study and culturally experience Thunder Bay with visits to Marina Park; take part in a community educational undefined experience; go Canadian Cosmic 5-Pin Bowling; and
On Friday and Saturday there will be time to do some additional sightseeing with options for diving, horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, crossing the longest suspension bridge in Canada, and sailing are some options.
Cost for the trip is $500 which includes transportation, gas, food, 2 nights additional lodging in Thunder Bay, and a week of service. A passport or passport card is needed for this trip. Please contact Colleen Teeuwe at 281.207.4202 or youth@netamumail.com with any questions!
2012 ELCA Youth Gathering Citizens with the Saints July 18-22, 2012 New Orleans, Louisiana Registration fees for this gathering are $315. Application for financial assistance will be available on the Gathering website www.elca.org/gathering, starting May 15, 2011, through 1 p.m. EDT July 31, 2011, or until the funds are depleted. This is our Mission Trip for next summer and will be open to all entering 9th grade through graduating seniors. Registration for this event starts October 9, 2011.
