Contemporary Worship

First Lutheran Church has a contemporary style worship service every other weekend at the Saturday 5:30 worship service. The worship team rehearses Monday evenings at 5:15 the week of the performance. The worship team is under the direction of Kurt Kissinger.

Senior Handbell Choir

Three octaves of Schmulerich handbells and three octaves of hand chimes fill the sanctuary with beautiful sound. The Senior Handbell Choir of First Lutheran Church rehearses each Wednesday evening from 5:50-6:50 p.m. The group performs once a month, usually on the third Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. worship service, as well as other special events. The choir is under the direction of Julie Murphy.

New Beginnings Handbell Choir

The New Beginnings Handbell Choir has played for the members for many years. This choir is for anyone who would like to become more familiar with bell ringing whether young or old. Although no prior handbell experience is necessary, it is helpful to have some note reading ability. New members are always welcome! This choir meets each Wednesday from 5:00-5:45 p.m. and performs the first Sunday of the month, usually at the 10;30 a.m. worship. The choir is under the direction of Chris VanDeventer.

 The Front Row Singers

The Front Row Singers is a group of several individuals who love to sing and praise our Lord! They perform occasionally during the year, the service varies. The group is under the direction of Linnea Holmer.
