On the days the Algona
Community Schools dismiss at 1:00 p.m. for staff in-service, First Lutheran
Church is offering an afternoon of fun from 1:15-3:30 p.m. Activities include
snacks, games, art fun, Bible lessons, and surprises.
Mark these dates on your calendar and
plan to have a SWEET time.

Campaigners (Middle
School Youth - Grades 6, 7, 8) |
Campaigners is a youth group just for
kids in grades 6-8. We meet each Wednesday night at 7 pm in the Fellowship
Hall for a mix of games, fun, food and faith building activities. Some of
the activities have included:

- Ever eat pickled herring or humus?
- Survivor -
Time to "survive" the ultimate game night.
- Let's Make a
Deal - Can you resist temptation as you make deals?
- Recharge
Weekends - Fun at Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp!

Negotiate the streets of Algona in a race to the finish line.
- Mission
Impossible - Solve a mystery worthy of the best teen super spies.

Brothers & Sisters in Christ (B.A.S.I.C.) is just for you. The group meets
at 6:30 pm on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month for
faith & fellowship building activities. Past activities include:

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) |
FCA is a non-denominational Christian group that meets the 2nd & 4th
Wednesdays of each month from 8-9 pm at the Algona Family YMCA in the Youth Gym.
