T & T
(Twenties & Thirties)
The T&T’s (20’s & 30’s) meets one Friday or Saturday night each month for a night of fellowship with other “twenty & thirty something” members. Some of the activities that the T&T’s has enjoyed include a night at the Algona Raceway, a family picnic at Veteran’s Park and dining at a Mexican restaurant in Clear Lake. Friends are always welcome to attend the T&T’s.

     YACHT CLUB
(Young Adult Christians Hangin' Together)

The YACHT Club meets the second or third Saturday night at 7:00 pm of each month for a night of fun with other members of First Lutheran.  Some of the activities that the YACHT Club has enjoyed include a Fall hayride, a Valentine’s meal and a game night.

F-TROOP
(First, Food, Fun, Fellowship)
The F-Troop meets the third Sunday of the month for an afternoon or evening of fun and fellowship.  Among the activities that the F-Troop has enjoyed is a scavenger hunt, a ride on the Queen at Lake Okoboji, and a ride on the Boone Railroad.
 

SNAG
(Saturday Night Adult Group)
The SNAG group meets the third Saturday night of the month for an evening of fellowship with other members of First Lutheran.  SNAG is for any adults, single or married, to get together for fun and fellowship with other members of First Lutheran.

SIXTY PLUS
The Sixty Plus is a group of Seniors (and some not so Senior) that meet the second Friday of each month at 12:00 pm in the First Lutheran Fellowship Hall for a potluck noon meal.  Each month, various members of the community present a program to the group.

Coffee Hour & Potlucks

Coffee and rolls are served on Sunday mornings, after the first worship service (9:00 a.m. Sept. - May and 10:00 June - Aug.)

We also have various potlucks and meals to gather together and fellowship with one another.

Men's Discussion Group
The Men’s Discussion Group meets each Thursday morning at 7:00 am in the First Lutheran Fellowship Hall to discuss current issues of today that range in a variety of topics.

Adult Fellowship Activities

YMCA Sports (volleyball, slow pitch softball etc.)
Throughout the year the Algona Family YMCA sponsors several church leagues of which members may participate.  Among the recent activities included a co-ed slow-pitch softball league.

Sunday Scrappers

The Sunday Scrappers are a group of women who come together one Sunday of the month from 1:00- 5:00 pm (the Sunday varies each month) to work on their scrapbooks.  Although the group is called Sunday Scrappers, members may come and work on any project, such as a quilt or rubber-stamping.
